Kerala Recipe – Drumstick Thoran
Ingredients
1) Drumsticks - 5 nos.
2) Coconut pieces – 2-3 table Spoon3) Grated Coconut - 1 cup 4) Jeerakam – 1 pinch 5) Turmeric powder -1/4 teaspoon ( Optional)6) Green Chillies – 2-3 7) Small Onions - 6 chopped8) Mustard - 1/4 teaspoon9) Salt - to taste

Method
Split drumstick lengthwise and take out the soft flesh alone with a small knife or spoon.
Grind/crush ingredients 3 to 6 and mix it with drumstick flesh and coconut pieces
Heat 2 table spoon oil in a pan, add mustard and onion and saute till slight brown.
Then add the drumstick mix and required salt and cook for 4-5 minutes in a very low flame and stir again for 2-3 minutes in medium flame and add curry leaves.
