Ingredients.
1) Oats – 4 table spoon( As required)
2) Water – 2 ½ glass ( As required)
3) Salt- to taste.
4) Chilly powder – ¾ teaspoon
5) Sambar powder – ½ teaspoon( optional)
6) Shallots- 5-6 nos ( chopped)
7) Curry leaves - Few
8) Mustard seeds – ½ teas spoon ( optional)
9) Oil – 2 teaspoon ( As required)
Method
Boil the water and oats together in a pan and cook for about 5-6 minutes and stir occasionally till the content become a porridge consistency and keep aside.
Then Heat oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds, then add chopped shallots and curry leaves, chilly powder and sambar powder one by one and sauté until the shallot becomes slight golden brown then pour this over the porridge and stir well and enjoy.
