Parippu Vada













Ingredients

1) Thuvar daal – 1 cup
2) Green chilly – 3 to 4 nos. ( Finally chopped)
3) Small Onion – 07 nos. ( finely chopped)
4) Ginger – Finely grated ginger 1 ½”
5) Curry leaves – few
6) Hing – 2-3 pinches.
7) Red chilly – 2 nos.
8) Salt – to taste.

Method

Soak thuvar dal in water for 3 to 4 hours. Grind the Dal with Red Chilies & Salt in a blender without adding water. Don’t grind them into a paste. Grind them coarsely. Finally add the ingredients (onions, green chilies, ginger, curry leaves and hing). Mix them together. Make a round shape with your hands running through the edges. Drop the vada into the oil. Deep fry them in hot oil until they are golden brown.
