Non-Fried Vegetable Rolls




How to make Non – Fried vegetable Spring rolls

Normally vegetable spring rolls are making as a deep fried dish. To avoid that I decided to make it in my own way……….

Ingredients

1) Cabbage – 1 small portion ( cut in to lengthwise)
2) French beans – 5- 6 nos – Cut it in to length wise.
3) Carrot – 1 no - Cut it in to length wise.
4) Capsicum – half portion - Cut it in to length wise.
5) Spring onion - Cut it in to length wise.
6) Garlic clove – 2 nos. ( thinly sliced)
7) Sprouted green peas or Sprouted green gram – ½ cup.
8) Salt – to taste
9) Soya sauce - ¾ table spoon
10) Ketch up – ½ table spoon
11) Oyster sauce – 2 teas poon( optional)
12) Pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
13) Oil – 1-2 table spoon.

For the covering sheets

1) All purpose flour – 3 table spoon
2) Wheat flour – 2 table spoon
3) Corn flour – 1 table spoon.
4) Salt – to taste

Method

Take a pan heat sufficient oil then add chopped garlic and sauté few seconds then add all vegetables one by one sauté until they have slightly cooked and add Soya sauce, salt, pepper powder & ketch up.

Make a thick batter using the 1-4 ingredients and make the covering wrappers in hot pan and bake both sides in medium heat then put a small portion of the cooked vegetables in one side and roll it and press the side with your spatula and enjoy the dish…………
