Kerala Fish Fry

Kerala Fish Fry


1) Fish any type – 6 pieces
2) Pepper powder- 2 tea spoon
3) Red chilly powder- 1 ½ tea spoon
4) Turmeric powder – ¾ tea spoon
5) Garlic and ginger paste – ¾ tea spoon
6) Coriander powder – 2-3 pinch for crispiness( optional)
7) Garam Masala – 2-3 pinch ( optional)
8) Salt – As required
9) Oil – As required
10)Water – little
11)Curry Leaves


Clean the fish with lime juice and salt to reduce the smell of the fish and keep aside (According to fish type you can make slight cuts on the fish body with knife)

Mix the ingredients 2- 10 and make a thick paste using little water and marinate it with the fish and leave it for ½ an hour and then shallow fry it on a pan in a low flame ( Both sides) until it turns golden brown

Your fish fry is ready to serve.
