Chicken Roast

How to make chicken Roast

Ingredients

1) Chicken – ½ kg
2) Big onion – 2 nos.( thinly chopped)
3) Garlic cloves – 2-3 nos ( finely chopped)
4) Ginger – 1 ½” ( chopped)
5) Tomato – 1 no ( Big)-Chopped
6) Green chilly – 1-2 nos ( chopped)
7) Chilly Powder – 1 table spoon
8) Coriander powder – 1 table spoon
9) Pepper powder – ½ table spoon
10) Turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon
11) Garam masala – 1 ½ teaspoon
12) Oil – 3-4 table spoon
13) Curry leaves – as required
14) Salt – to taste

Method

Take a thick bottom non stick pan heat oil add garlic & ginger sauté few seconds then add sliced big onion & green chilly sauté until the onion becomes transparent then add coriander powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder & pepper powder one by one sauté until the raw smell out then add chopped tomato’s and sauté until it cooks well then add chicken pieces and salt mix well with the masala then close the pan and cook the chicken in a very very low heat for about 25 minutes with out putting any water. Take a look after 10 minutes and mix again the chicken then do a taste test and continue the cooking. Open the lid mix again then add curry leaves and pepper powder. Your chicken roast is ready to serve.

    Your blog has become more organised now.Great! I tried out this Chicken roast-curry yesterday and it turned out yummy! I kept a lil gravy since my son likes a lil chaaru for his khuboos. The only change i made was to add tomato paste since my tomatoes were not enough. Great recipe sherly...keep going..
