How to make Tomato Roast

Ingredients.

1) Tomato – 3-4 (Cut in to big cube shapes)
2) Green chilly – 2-3 nos. (Slit)
3) Garlic – 2-3 nos. (Chopped)
4) Ginger – a small piece ( Chopped)
5) Big onion – 2 nos. ( chopped)
6) Chilly Powder – 2 teaspoon ( I used kashmeri chilly powder)
7) Coriander powder – 2 teaspoon.
8) Garam Masala – ½ teaspoon.
9) Tomato sauce – 1 table spoon ( optional)
10) Soya sauce - 1 table spoon (Optional)
11) Mustard seeds – 1 teaspoon
12) Salt – To taste
13) Curry Leaves – As required


Method

Take thick bottom pan heat oil then splutter the mustard seeds add chopped ginger, garlic, curry leaves & green chilly sauté for few seconds then add chopped onion until it becomes transparent then add chilly powder, coriander powder & garam masala then sauté for few seconds then add tomatoes until it cooked well. Then add tomato sauce and Soya sauce and do a taste test. Adjust salt accordingly. Serve hot with chapatti, poori, and paratha.
